Project Manager/Business Analyst

SUMMARY OF POSITION

 

 

¨ Analyze the business requirements of assigned projects.  Design systems and create system specifications and a Statement of Work detailing the requirements, scope, and timeline of each project. Oversee the analysis, creation, and implementation of each assigned project and monitor that the specifications, scope, and timeline are being met.  Work with assigned developers on program and database design.  Resolve any obstacles encountered and ensure features and functional requirements are being met.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

List requirements necessary for this position in descending order of importance.

 

¨ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of equivalent experience.

 

¨ Experience with all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

 

¨ Experience with related programming languages, tools and databases, including RPG, Java, Crystal Reports, SQL, DBMS, C++, HTML, vb.net, Microsoft Office and Project Planning, Lotus Notes and flow charting tools.

 

¨ Knowledge of operating system and programming concepts, techniques and practices as applied to mid-range and client-server computers.

 

¨ Ability to manage projects and tasks independently without supervision; self-motivated.

 

¨ Possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills; able to “think outside the box”.

 

¨ Be organized, accurate and detail oriented with good follow through skills.

 

¨ Possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

 

¨ Possess excellent time management skills; handle multiple priorities effectively.

 

¨ Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.

 

¨ Be a team player able to work a flexible schedule to meet demands of the job.

 

¨ Ability to provide leadership through direction and decision making as well as by own example.
