Project Manager, Enterprise Software Implementation

Responsibilities:

 

The Project Manager is part of a Professional Services organization delivering Rivermine’s Enterprise Telecommunication Management software to Fortune 1000 customers. You will be involved in managing all aspects of the software’s implementation lifecycle including: solution definition, requirements gathering, detailed design, software development and configuration, testing and deployment. This position requires strong customer facing skills to manage the resources responsible for the configuration and delivery of our products.

 

Specific duties include:

 Acquire detailed product knowledge of all Rivermine software modules to execute and successfully deliver customer implementationsBuild and manage to well-structure project plans and Statements of WorkWork with the customers in developing best approaches to use Rivermine software as a means to accomplish their telecom expense management objectivesExhibit excellent communication and leadership skills to establish a common understanding of project timelines, milestones, and delivery expectationProvide direction to project resources, monitor development efforts, assemble key project deliverables, and identify issues that require escalationClosely monitor change requests and prevent unapproved requirement modifications that result in scope creepSchedule and facilitate project status meetings and advise management on the effects that change requests will have on schedule and resources.Motivate and build teams who are dedicated to project deliveryProvide product feedback (customer requirements, product shortcomings, enhancements, etc.) to product management and/or engineering.

  Requirements: 5+ years of application software implementation and/or management consulting experience in applying technology to meet customer needs. 3+ years of Program/Project management skills and experience (work estimates and estimating models).Full life cycle application software implementation or development experience  that includes large, complex package and/or custom software implementations with Fortune 1000 customersKnowledge of web-based architecturesFunctional knowledge of Enterprise Telecommunication Management and experience working with client business process owners is highly desirableStrong oral presentation and written communications skills and analytical problem-solving skills.Self starter with a proved track record of success.  Solid team player with a positive attitude and a record of consistent follow through on commitments.Availability for overnight travel (approx 10-15%)
