This is a hands-on testing position of software and management of software defects. The successful candidate will focus on the following objectives:• Responsible for the development and execution of test plans for complex products and systems• Responsible for the creation and execution of acceptance tests using FitNesse • Responsible for working with other members of a development team to ensure that quality is "built in" from the ground up in products.• Responsible for ensuring that the company's products meet total quality management standards and other reliability standards• Identifies risks and provides mitigation options.Qualifications:Experience/Education:• Bachelor's Degree in CS or MIS or equivalent.• Requires a minimum of 3 years of technical experience in software development including a minimum of 2 years Software Quality Assurance experience. • At least 1 year of experience working on an agile software team is preferred (preferably using Scrum framework).• Solid understanding of Agile testing methods.• Experience working with Continuous Integration practices.• Solid knowledge of current Quality Assurance methodologies, best practices, and toolsets.• Advanced technology expertise in multiple diverse areas such as: .Net, C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, XML, SOAP.• Ability to demonstrate expertise in programming and scripting languages such as .Net (C#, VB, ASP), C++, Perl, VBScript.• Ability to demonstrate expertise in database technologies (SQL Server preferred).• Ability to demonstrate expertise in Operating Systems such as Windows Server 200X, Solaris, Linux. • Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills required.• Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative in development and completion of work projects. • Ability to participate in, as well as promote, a team environment.• Experience within the healthcare industry preferred.• International travel up to 10% required.Misys Healthcare: Experience, Solutions, Results
