Additionally, this position provides hands-on testing of software applications, development of automated test scripts, and management of software defect logs.Responsibilities Include:• Work with project teams to define and document detailed application requirements, functional use cases, and measurable test plans. • Setup test cases (including automated scripts), run tests, and document testing results, including defects and quality metrics. • Research and develop an understanding of marketing requirements and product features, including how the products are being used and what performance requirements must be met. • Identify, document, and implement required process improvements within the Quality Assurance team and the overall organization. Qualifications:Education/Experience:• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience• 5+ years experience in a technical discipline, quality assurance department, software testing, or equivalent. • Experience in Healthcare systems or software is a plus.• Must be fluent in all Microsoft Desktop applications, including Word, Visio, and Excel. Additionally, candidates should be familiar with the Windows operating systems. • Ability to demonstrate expertise in Linux, UNIX operating systems a plus. • Ability to demonstrate expertise in Internet Technologies, Web Services a plus. • 2+ years experience with Test Director, QuickTest Professional or similar test management/automation tools. • Ability to demonstrate expertise in SQL Server, Oracle or other (RDBMS) a plus. • 2+ years experience with programming in Java is desirable. • Degree in computer science, software development, or technical communications. • CSQA, CSTE certifications a plus.
