In addition will oversee all software testing, recommends new processes, software and/or systems to improve internal information systems efficiency.  Position Responsibilities:1. Ability to develop test plans for internal and external applications, as well as improvements to the methodology
2. Active member of the QA team whose responsibilities include running testing suites, reviewing test cases, creating quality metrics and tracking down defects
3. Assist Software Developers and Customer Service Representatives in isolating and resolving software defects
4. Assists in the development of test automation frameworks
5. Assists in the development of QA load and performance frameworks
6. Develops automation test plans and test cases
7. Responsible for assisting in maintaining the QA test environment, database, and other related components
8. Assists in QA test projects under minimal supervision
9. Mentors more junior Quality Assurance Engineers Candidates must have the following qualifications:1. 5 – 10 year’s years QA experience
2. 5 + years experience with scripting languages Perl, Python, Ruby, UNIX Shell
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
4. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues
5. Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle and QA processes
6. Demonstrated ability to create and document test cases and develop test plans
7. Some experience coding C, C++, C# or Java
8. Familiar with Windows or UNIX environments
9. Experience testing N-Tier web applications
10. Experience testing web services
Additional qualifications preferred but not required: 1. BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or other technical related fields
