QA Team Lead

Description:

 

Ensure company web sites and applications are developed and maintained to a high quality standard by leading QA team.  Responsible for work allocation and workflow  of internal QA analysts and external contractors. 

Develop, maintain and improve QA procedures.  Research, evaluate and advise on current QA methods and best practices in software development and web/e-business development.

Interface with customers and project teams at the start of all web projects to identify success criteria, key milestones, processes and project metrics.  Capture and analyze metrics in order to measure and monitor procedures.

Assist in conducting, analyzing, and documenting audits to assess compliance with the company’s quality system and relevant quality plans.  Recommend corrective actions where appropriate. 

Estimate QA Team budget, track, and keep within expenditure targets.

Requirements:BS in Computer Science or related degree. Additional professional qualifications in Quality Assurance / Software Testing. Strong communication and relationship building skills3 to 5 years experience in QA Testing role with some line management experience. Knowledge of current developments and practices in QA and Software Testing including current developments in automated test tools, use and suitability for increasing performance through automating time consuming testing exercises. Experience of Software Development processes and internet/web technologies.
