QA Tester

About the Job

The selected QA Tester will be responsible for creating and executing test plans based on approved product release requirements.  They will be expected to establish and maintain the test environment, test data and test tools and document, evaluate and track program testing results and recommends program improvements.  They will also work closely with the development engineers to identify issues while assisting with updates and new releases and perform web application compatibility testing.

 

What is expected from the QA Tester

The selected candidate will be familiar with all aspect of software development life cycle including web technologies, relational databases and multi-tier applications.  The QA Tester will have demonstrated experience developing test plans, procedures, cases and scripts and analyzing and reporting results of various test cases.  They also MUST have experience implementing and utilizing automated testing methods and tools.  An ability to collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw conclusions to create test plans and test scripts for accurately testing and debugging designated software is necessary for success.
