Position Title

 

We are currently seeking QA Testers in the following areas:API QAToolkit QAPerformance and Reliability QA

 

Key Responsibilities


• Ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented and fixed.
• Interact closely with the development and/or test team and program management teams.

 

API QA

 

• Determine testing efforts from project requirements.

• Write Tests for Soleus SDK and AK APIs

• Apply software testing methodology in developing, maintaining and reviewing test plans, test strategies, and test cases while performing all testing activities including functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure maximum coverage.

• Ensure features work as designed and meet all requirement specifications

• Report test results

Toolkit QA

• Determine testing efforts from project requirements.

• Apply software testing methodology in developing, maintaining and reviewing test plans, test strategies, and test cases while performing all testing activities including functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure maximum coverage.

• Ensure applications work as designed and meet all requirement specifications

• Write, debug and maintain test automation using C# and perhaps C++

 

Performance and Reliability QA

 

• Create and run performance and stress test automation for the entire team, analyze the results, and report status to appropriate parties

• Assist with the manual testing effort at the end of each release

 

Qualifications

• A BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Have solid debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle
• Ability to work efficiently on several projects simultaneously and with minimal supervision
• Ability to focus on priorities, solve complex problems, and meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

API QA

• 3 or more years of experience in software test development.
• An in depth understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies such as test planning, test requirements, development of test scripts and test cases, risk assessment, test execution, defect management and reporting.
• Have solid C/C++ skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret requirement specifications.

Toolkit QA

• Have a working knowledge of C, C++, and/or C#
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office



Performance and Reliability QA



• Have a strong knowledge of C++ and/or C# (preferably both)
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office
• Experience with the Windows CE platform

Desirable Qualifications

API QA

• Experience with mobile software and mobile platforms.
• Experience creating API test cases.
• Experience writing test scripts in a high level or automation friendly language.
• Experience with embedded software testing on Windows CE, including usage of App Verifier, CE remote tools and the CETK (writing and running TUX modules).
• Experience with embedded software development for Windows CE, including usage of eVC++ and Platform Builder, and development of CE UI automation or other CE automation.

Toolkit QA

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows batch files or other scripting language
• Experience with the Windows CE platform
• Experience with mobile platforms and mobile software development/testing
• Experience with embedded software development/testing for Windows CE, including Microsoft eVC++ and Microsoft Platform Builder
• Experience creating builds in Platform Builder
• Familiarity with WScript, DOS Batch & PERL
• Practical UI testing experience
• Fluency in a foreign language such as Chinese, Japanese, or Korean is a plus


Performance and Reliability QA

• Previous experience with Performance or Stress testing.
• Have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows batch files or other scripting language
• Experience with mobile platforms and mobile software development/testing
• Experience with embedded software development/testing for Windows CE, including Microsoft eVC++ and Microsoft Platform Builder
• Practical UI testing experience
• Fluency in a foreign language such as Chinese, Japanese, or Korean is a plus
