POSITION SUMMARY

To ensure the quality, reliability and completeness of software developed via the application of standard SQA practices. 

 

The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the testing process from the design of testware to the execution of test processes. They will own one or more key components of an application and be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, functional & usability analysis, interactions with other applications falling outside your immediate responsibility, and of course testing.  Work independently on projects of moderate scope.  Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products and testing methodologies for testing the variety of TRIRIGA applications and to ensure the quality, reliability and completeness of software developed via the application of TRIRIGA’s SQA practices.  To develop test plans, organize and lead the testing activities for new and existing releases.

 Creating test cases, test requirements, test scenarios and test data for use during the system test and regression test phases of the release process for major or minor releases.  Design and develop test cases and scenarios  that fully exercise every aspect of the product, and interactions/integration with other products.Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of products, including performance and utilization requirements of product features being tested.Participate in BRD, FDD, and design review sessions.Work closely with the development team. Ensure issues identified during tests are escalated with the appropriate urgency.


REQUIREMENTSMust possess proven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesMust have knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, software development process and software lifecyclePrevious experience in enterprise software industry preferred Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skillsExpected to become a Subject Matter Expert on one or more Tracks of the product being testedMust have initiative and ability to work independentlyIncurably inquisitive problem solverStrict attention to detailTeam focused Must have a minimum of 2 years SQA Testing experience

 

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
