QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Here’s your opportunity to contribute to initial development and ongoing process improvement for the technology that drives our multimedia content. Working with multiple time-pressured software development projects, you will be responsible for:

• running high quality test plans and test cases
• performing UAT and function testing
• implementing automated suites for testing browser-based interfaces

The ideal candidate is analytical, technically oriented, and committed to continual advancement. He/she should possess:

• two years’ experience as a QA engineer, focused on the development of enterprise class, Internet-based services and software
• solid understanding of browser-based interfaces,  plug-in technology, Web application/GUI testing and QA techniques
• exposure to very large-scale Internet distributed services architectures, automated
off-the-shelf testing suites and commercial test management/defect tracking applications
• knowledge of at least one scripting language, e.g. PERL, JavaScript, Python and Ruby
• deep understanding of QA techniques and their application within a software project
• degree in a scientific or engineering discipline preferred
