Responsibilities include:

· Logging and following up on reported bugs in the issue tracking system

· Troubleshooting and recreating defects reported/logged by QA and Technical Support staffResearching, analyzing, developing, implementing and executing test plans for a cross-platform integrations product suite

· Implementing test systems and environments

· Status reportingReporting to QA manager on status of test cases and areas for concern and improvementConducting compatibility tests with other software programs and multiple operating systems

 

 

Required/Desired BackgroundExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredExtremely high level of attention to detail requiredCurrent enrollment in a computer related degree or education in Computer Science or Engineering is a plusExperience in troubleshooting software product configuration, installation, deployment and usage issuesAbility to cope with fast-paced and constantly changing environmentsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamU.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status requiredExperience in QA automation (functional, performance, scalability testing) Experience with distributed software applications Multiple platform experience including Windows and UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, Linux).Experience with automated/performance test tools and open source components, such as Mercury, WebLOAD, etc.
