Quality Assurance Lead - Dungeons & Dragons Online®

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for implementing Quality Assurance procedures to support the test and verification for one or more massively multi-player titles. This includes creating test plans and processes, coordinating QA resources including tools and personnel to affect a successful test pass within the various phases of the project. This is a highly visible role and will be responsible for creating Turbine’s overall DDO test strategy. The positions reports to the Director of QA and is located in Westwood, MA.

Responsibilities:
• Focused testing of daily DDO test builds
• Manage Associate Leads, Testers and any other staff required including off-site test teams
• Assist development team in coming up with best practices for the Production/QA process
• Updates the status and assignment of bugs in the bug database, including work item bugs representing development progress
• Performs ad hoc tests, enters bugs, and gives design feedback
• Assists in maintaining a positive relationship and working with our external publishing partners
• Additional tasks as assigned by the Director of QA.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years Quality Assurance leadership experience with team(s) of at least 10 people
• At least 1 full ship cycle on a AAA Online PC title
• Must be a self-starter and enjoy cross-departmental work
• Experience as liaison to a publisher QA team and off-shore QA team
• Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• A Bachelors Degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency testing network-based applications (client/server environment)
• Experience with revision control systems, memory checking and bug tracking software

Pluses:
• Previous work on a PC MMO
• Experience playing Dungeons & Dragons Online®
