R&D Operations Analyst

The responsibilities and duties for this position include but are not limited to:Maintains and coordinates the budge and forecast for Research & Development. Provide proactive and routine analysis of current and future financial activity against quarterly and annual budget goals Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize data for a high level, internally distributed financial/strategic report for key business unit leaders, CEO and Board of Directors Compile data from several sources, research and edit report content, create report template and provide progress updates to executive sponsors Working with Finance, Legal and Purchasing, is responsible for setting up vendors, issuing purchase orders, developing and tracking contracts determining/maintaining R&D accruals and ensuring timely payment of R&D related invoices Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of R&D operational tools including but not limited to R&D Strategic Planning Database and Resources planning & tracking system Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:BA/BS in Business, Accounting or Finance.  Associate degree or related experience considered Minimum 2-3 years in related field Advance proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details and accuracy Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Professional demeanor.
