Akamai - Powering a Better Internet. About the Team The Contracts Management Group (CMG) is the functioning bridge between Akamai Sales and Akamai Finance. CMG exists to ensure that each customer contract meets all Akamai legal and financial requirements; that all contract terms are represented accurately in the contract module; and that all customers are invoiced based on contract terms and service utilization. About the Job The CMG Supervisor will be the subject matter expert on entering customer contracts into the Siebel contract module. The responsibilities will include maintaining process documentation, reviewing the work Contract Analysts, ensuring accurate entry, as well as compliance with internal policies. This position will also participate in the review of monthly invoices. The CMG Supervisor position is highly focused on accuracy of data entry and the ability to work within tight deadlines. Responsibilities * Support a team of 4 * Work in conjunction with the Contracts and Billing Manager to ensure accuracy of contract entry and billing * Interface with sales force, account management, legal and other internal departments as necessary to clarify contract pricing and terms * Review entry of contract detail with 100% accuracy to drive invoicing, revenue recognition, sales activity reporting and commissions processing * Ensure contracts comply with internal policies, processes and controls * Responsible for maintenance of internal documentation * Participate in the process of generating monthly invoices * Contribute to projects related to all aspects of revenue operations including contract and invoicing processing and reporting * Assist other Revenue Operations groups on a cross-functional basis as necessary (Contracts Management, Commissions, Cash Applications) Basic Qualifications * Education: Bachelor's Degree * Overall Experience: 2-5 years or equivalent experience Desired Qualifications * Strong accounting skills * Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley process and requirements * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Attention to detail * Ability to meet deadlines * Strong analytical skills, with an ability to present analysis clearly * Strong sense of integrity and accountability * Strong MS Excel skills * Knowledge of Siebel Systems and Oracle Financials Other Information * Is relocation available for this position: No * Is US Citizenship required: No * Is a Security Clearance Required: No If yes, applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation & must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
