Regional Sales Manager

BBN Technologies is seeking a dynamic individual to be a key member of the AVOKE Caller Experience Analytics team. A new business start-up within BBN, the AVOKE team is leveraging 30 years of BBN research in speech recognition and call center optimization to develop an innovative new analytics solution. Our mission is to make call centers satisfying for callers and efficient for the companies that operate them. We provide the first and only analytics to examine telephone interactions from the caller's perspective. Our customers benefit from caller experience dashboards and analysis tools that reveal exactly where and how to eliminate dissatisfiers and reduce cost.AVOKE Analytics customers include 9 regional and super-regional utilities, 3 of the largest telecom/cable companies, 4 healthcare/insurance providers, the 3rd largest credit agency, one of the largest airlines, 2 brand name personal computer manufacturers, and 3 diversified financial services companies. The business value is proven and our unique competitive differentiation is protected by a growing patent portfolio. BBN seeks a proven sales professional to scale the business. This is an early stage business and a great opportunity to use experience and relationships from your past success to exceed your plan. The position reports to the Director of Sales for the AVOKE Caller Experience Analytics business unit.RESPONSIBILITIES:'Exceed sales goals'Develop and manage an annual regional sales plan with target accounts'Execute strategies to win new business in target accounts'Generate new business and renewals from existing accounts'Build a pipeline via implementation of structured, measurable methods'Cultivate partner relationships to expand sales coverage and reach'Implement a consultative sales approach focused on building long-term customer relationships.'Deliver presentations and write proposals tailored to each customer's unique priorities.'Communicate customer needs and successes back to the rest of the AVOKE team.'Assist in the continuous improvement of sales tools and processes'Prepare weekly forecast updates and quarterly territory reviews 'Proven experience in consultative solution sales to business and technical buyers; specifically with call center solutions'Deep knowledge of selling enterprise applications based on various solution selling methods'Existing client and/or partner relationships'Minimum of 7 years direct sales experience'Excellent written communications, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills'Proven track record of overachievement'Bachelor's degree RESPOND HERE!
