Position Description:

Sunquest Information Systems, Inc., is a market leader in clinical data management with more than 1,200 U.S. hospitals and commercial laboratories, and over 60 customers in Canada, UK, Western Europe, and the Middle-East. The company designs, develops, and supports a comprehensive suite of information products for hospitals and laboratories that include laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy systems. Sunquest uses open systems that are scalable to any size hospital or healthcare network.The RVP of Sales - East will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales and be responsible for leading the East Region Sales team. The RVP will lead a team of Sales Executives who are responsible for developing and closing new business within the assigned territory as well as creating opportunity within and finalizing sales of our current customer base while increasing revenues within the assigned region. The RVP will be responsible for developing the regional sales team which will include interviewing, hiring, and developing employees to ensure Sales Executives have a superior knowledge of Sunquest solutions and sales process.Responsibilities:Participate in sales forecasting and planning.Customer Business Plan creation, presentation and reviewDevelops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goalsEstablishes and maintains industry contacts that lead to salesMeets with key clients, mentors sales representatives to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals.Maintains up-to-date understanding of competitors' activities and competitive offerings Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
