Release/ Configuration Manager

We are currently seeking a Release/ Configuration Manager to work at our headquarters located in our Dulles, Virginia office. This dynamic organization offers a stable, fast paced environment with potential for growth.  Duties·  Provide software configuration management for our development and production software releases·  Rework/maintain/optimize existing configuration management processes ·  Design and develop Build and Release tools to increase development productivity ·  Implement various automated solutions via NAnt or MSBuild, XML, and C# or similar languages/tools ·  Handle the deployment and schema build cycles for SQLServer and Oracle databases·  Troubleshoot and fix compilation or build script issues ·  Provide systems administration to Perforce and Fogbugz servers·  Develop processes for release engineering and build management·  Prioritize multiple tasks based on project urgency ·  Architect and design a proper build, release and revision environment f·  Act as a liaison between QA, engineering, operations and other departments.·  Evaluate, customize, deploy, and troubleshoot software for release and deployment ·  Coordinate production and delivery of our development code and client code.·  Learn fast, work independently, and handle multiple simultaneous projectsQualifications ·  4+ years of software release and build management in challenging environments·  Excellent writing and editing skills·  Excellent coding and scripting skills·  Mastery of industry-standard release and build management ·  Extensive experience building release infrastructure·  Expertise in Microsoft environments·  Expertise with Perforce·  Expertise with NAnt or MSBuild, C#, .net, HTML, XML, scripting·  Passion for technology and gadgetsEducation and/or Experience BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalentLanguage Skills Technical Languages:C#,ASP.NET, Delphi, XML, NAnt or MSBuild Spoken Languages:English Employment Requirements: Employment Offers are contingent upon the following: Candidates must successfully pass a Criminal Background Check and Pre-Employment Drug Screen prior to employmentWe offer competitive compensation, stock options, and a comprehensive benefit plan!TO APPLY, please click on the link below or send your resume to careers@vovici.com: https://home.eease.com/recruit/?id=36404Vovici is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to workforce diversity.
