WellPoint is the nation's leading health benefits company serving the needs of approximately 28 million medical members nationwide.Release Coordinator/Production Support AnalystJob Description:Provides technical system administration for all systems, tools, hardware, and software for the pharmacy fulfillment center.  This includes, but not limited to installation and support of software and hardware products. Provides a stable and productive operations environment supporting all fulfillment systems. Evaluates, installs, tests, and maintains third party software products used in support of fulfillment center activities.  This includes but is not limited to chain management software, automation software, manifesting software, and pharmacy software. Tests, debugs, maintains, and documents automation programs, system applications and procedures to enhance functionality, availability, and reliability within the pharmacy fulfillment center. Ensure other pharmacy IT associates are knowledgeable in all aspects of operations support activities and functions. Responsible for support of Windows computing environments, including operating systems (NT/XP/2000), networks, databases (SQL Server), and third party vendor products. Responsible for performing administrative functions associated with management reporting.  Must complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists.  Recognizes trends & then applies solutions/recommendations towards process improvements. Responsible for facilitating the productivity of fulfillment systems for the pharmacy while supporting and maintaining optimal levels of system availability and utilization. Responsible for monitoring sensors, conveyor belts, printers, scales, pucks, totes, labelers, storage devices, databases, operating systems and applications, assisting for ensuring uninterrupted access/availability for the fulfillment center. Assists with performing analysis for system and hardware tuning, providing optimal performance. Creates, documents, and implements standards and controls for sustaining a stable production environment. Acts as first level contact for pharmacy business staff for responding to reported problems and/or support requirements.
