Our customers rely on NAVTEQ digital map information for use in their applications based on its accuracy, detail and completeness.  GENERAL SUMMARYUnder general direction, execute Release Management (RM) processes and procedures. Works with project managers and project teams to support the RM processes and procedures. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES• Publishes release packages and records• Supports release management activities.• Runs reports on the problem tracking tools for the development teams prior to release.• Runs automated build processes on behalf of the development teams.• Enforces process compliance by offshore development teams JOB SPECIFICATIONS• Undergraduate degree (science/technology) or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.• 2 to 4 yrs. release coordination experience, coupled with software configuration responsibilities.• Knowledge of configuration and release management strategies and methodologies.• Solid organizational skills.• Solid written and verbal communication skills.• Detail oriented. REQUIRED SKILLS• Experience with Rational ClearCase (software version control) and/or ClearQuest (CR tracking) systems.• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite.• Mastery of the spoken and written English language NAVTEQ is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V JOB TITLE: Release Engineer II COMPANY: NAVTEQ, Inc.
