Job Title: Release / Setup EngineerLocation: Concord, New HampshirePrimary Function: Develop and maintain automated installation, setup, and release management systems in a multi-language, multi-platform environment.

 



Responsibilities:

Work with development, quality assurance, support, and documentation groups to deliver and maintain GraphOn’s server-based software line.

Design and develop installation utilities for Windows, UNIX, and Web-based applications.

Create and maintain automated software build processes in support of ongoing deployment, maintenance and development software efforts.

Maintain build environments and build history.

Support product release efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work experience.

Two or more years of Windows installation utility development experience using tools such as InstallShield.

One or more years of cross-platform installation utility development experience.

Two or more years of configuration and/or release management experience.

A high comfort level with two or more scripting languages.

Experience working with source code revision control systems.

Experience creating native UNIX/Linux packages such as SVR4, depot, rpm, deb, etc..

Ability to produce well-documented and maintainable scripts and utilities.

Experience with C/C++ and/or Java a plus.

Experience using HP-UX and/or Solaris in addition to Windows and Linux a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
