Reliability Engineer

Job Requirements:Duties/Responsibilities:The core function of this role will be to drive Engineering activities related to product design for reliability. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the development of reliability test plans and executing these test plans with the goal of making significant improvements to short and long term product reliability, and the elimination of early life failures. Improving Redback’s detection capabilities and identifying reliability risks during product development phases will also be a key goal and responsibility for this position. Additionally, providing the expertise and knowledge during component selections with regards to reliability and MTBF calculated predictions, and providing electrical component derating analysis will be other key responsibilities. Skills Required:1. Logical problem solving skills 2. Strong knowledge of reliability statistics including determination of MTBF analysis and predictions 3. Strong writing skills 4. Experience in HALT and HASS product reliability testing 5. Strong understanding in product interconnect, material, and component reliability technologiesEducation Requirements:  BS in related technical field, as a minimum, and +10 years experience in reliability engineering disciplines.
