Report Writer/Data Analyst

Location: Tallahassee, GA Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Reference Code: 1001060423 Performs data analysis and report development activities for Enterprise Data Warehouse Reporting Team.  Analyzes source system data to understand the data structure, definitions and anomalies.  Interacts with customer as needed to better define and understand reporting requirements.  Interacts with other technical team members to establish reporting requirements.  Performs daily Cognos query and report writing, as directed.  Ability to program in SQL to perform the data query, reporting and data load functions.  Support end-users on the data warehouse query and reporting tools and BI applications.  Performs occasional ETL (Extract, Transformation, Load) process and procedure development, as directed.  Documents report and ETL designs in a clear and concise manner.Knowledge of Cognos 8 Business Intelligence products including Framework Manager, Query Studio, Report Studio, AnalysisStudio and Cognos 7 Impromptu, or equivalent Business Intelligence tools desired. Strong SQL query skills. Strong data analysis and report writing skills. ETL (Extract, Transformation, Load) development skills are a plus.
