SAP ABAP/RICE Developer

The BearingPoint Public Services SAP Solutions Group is currently searching for an SAP ABAP/RICE Developer. The selected resource will serve as an SAP Designer and Developer on the RICE team. This role will allow the resource to enhance their technical SAP skills and expand their functional knowledge within the Government Industry. Location/s: Washington DC/Northern VA RequiredU.S. Citizenship RequiredRelocation: NoScope of Work:Build Create technical designs Attend and facilitate technical design meetings Complete peer reviews, checklists and code walkthroughs for assigned objects Complete Control-M forms Complete Source Code & Unit Test Plans and ensure various cycles are handled Work with Development Lead to manage workload and set due dates Ensure deliverables do not miss their deadlines Take the initiative to own assigned objects Escalate issues immediately Follow Client Standards (naming conventions) Document cutover/configuration while working through Build Monitor the Backfill process to ensure all Production fixes are in the Client Build landscape Work with Solutions Delivery Team for design clarification Understand and strictly utilize development standards Participate in status meetings and provide metrics as needed Follow the established migration process to ensure successful version managementSystem/Regression Test Assist functional team with setting up data Validate programs are in the correct environment at the start of each testing phase Complete assigned SIRs in a timely manner Ensure assigned design documents are updated with new development fixes. Screenshots should exist for all testing to show testing details Work with IV&V team to resolve outstanding audit problems Escalate issues immediatelySkills/Technical Expertise Required Skills:SAP Custom ABAP design/development/testingPrevious Technical design experiencePreferred SkillsSAP Functional and Development experience within MM, SD, and FI modules.
