We are currently seeking a Senior SAP Basis Consultant for a short term contract position with our client in southwestern Michigan.  Job Description:Senior SAP Basis ConsultantWe are looking for a strong Basis administrator with at least five years of solid SAP Basis experience to help with the day to day administration of ABAP and J2EE systems. These include mission critical R/3, CRM, SRM, Portals Web Application Server and BW systems, among others. - Provide SAP Basis Support for R/3, BW, CRM, HR, Web Application Server, Solution Manager, XI, SCM and SRM systems. - Participate in SAP software upgrades, kernel patch upgrades and new SAP software installations, including the latest SAP platforms - Apply SAP Software Correction Support Packages and apply SAP OSS notes for individual program corrections. -Monitor the daily performance of the SAP system - Schedule, prepare and implement SAP EarlyWatch collection and system modification recommendations, after the EarlyWatch session is completed - Proactive development and maintenance of procedural documents used by the Basis Administration team. - Provide On-Call Support as needed    Required Skills:Senior SAP Basis Consultant with:- More than 5 years of SAP Basis experience. - 3 years SAP Lead actively supporting an SAP production environment - Experience supporting large R/3, BW and APO/SCM environments a must - Experience working on enterprise class database platforms such Oracle, DB/2, etc - Experience refreshing SAP clients and databases from existing entities - Experience in managing relationships with SAP end users and developers - Ability to work on multiple projects and to prioritize tasks and activities - Experience working with project teams and help with developing project plans
