SAP/ERP Enterprise Solutions Architect needed FOR EXCITING OPPORTUNITY!

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Looking for ERP Enterprise Solution Architect to ensure alignment of IT plans with business direction and strategy in the back-office arena (Human Resources, Finance, Supply Chain and Development). This includes providing vision, direction and alignment for the IT systems that support the business processes; and developing and maintaining the IT roadmap for their systems. Client looks for individuals that thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position involves staying abreast of the latest technology in solving mission critical business processes. It is an essential requirement that the ideal candidate enjoys consulting, problem solving and is self-directed.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

* Establish and maintain strong working relationships with the business teams.

* Collaborate with business teams and IT teams to develop roadmaps, plans and strategies related to ERP systems and the business functions they support.

* Thoroughly understand Client business processes and ensure alignment of IT efforts and systems with these processes.

* Work with IT Management and IT Account Management to help drive project priorities and alignment with the business goals.

* Constantly advocate for and improve upon the IT processes and corresponding IT ERP solutions implemented for the business.

* Create and maintain documentation of Client enterprise business processes and supporting IT ERP systems and flows (both as-is and to-be)

* Collaborate with other IT and business teams to ensure alignment of ERP processes and supporting infrastructure with other business processes like CRM.

 

Functional/Technical Skills: skills, knowledge and experience are required in each of the following areas:

* Experience that has provided strong understanding of business processes supported by ERP systems and best practices for successfully deploying ERP systems out of the box.

* Strong understanding of best-in-class ERP technologies, products and suppliers supporting key business processes

* Strong understanding of and experience with the SAP, as it relates to finance, human capital management, supply chain management, retail and product management. The new version of the ERP is currently being evaluated, and selected.

* Proven success in developing and executiing IT (specifically, ERP based systems) roadmaps, plans and strategy in close collaboration with business teams.

* Ability to clearly document and communicate business processes and IT processes to both business and IT stakeholders at appropriate levels of abstraction.

* Experience managing supplier relationships.

 

DURATION:

This is a contract position with 21 months duration or longer.

 

LOCATION:

Work must be done on site in Lexington - KY.
