SAP HR Analyst with strong time mgmt maint schema development

Description

A client in south Charlotte is seeking a talented SAP Technical Analyst to support their Human Resources and Payroll division. The position will analyze Human Resources and Payroll unit needs and provide the IT solution to meet those needs. Will also act as Project Leader for all new systems in the business area, coordinate activities between business unit and technical staff, develop new methods, policies, and procedures to meet the business needs, and will act as primary trainer in education of the business unit as it relates to business applications.

 

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have BS degree, 5 or more years of experience with SAP Implementation and Support in OM/PA/TM/Benefits, and Payroll, proven project management skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills. SAP implementation experience a must. Human Resources and/or Payroll experience a plus. Other qualifications include ability to work well under pressure, high initiative, and ability to handle multiple tasks. Must also be self directed. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus. Employee and customer confidentiality is extremely important. Must be very well organized with the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize appropriately.

 

Additional Information:

 

Ability to read (but not program) ABAP code

 

Schema creation and changes for both payroll and time management

 

Ability to create and modify work schedules in time management

 

Strong understandings of wage types and everything that makes up wage types (evaluation classes, processing classes, etc.)

 

Ability to create and modify personnel calculation rules (PCRs)

 

Understanding of quota generation (in time management) and ability to troubleshoot

 

Ability to thoroughly test support packages for all affected modules

 

Familiarity with BSI tax software

 

Understanding of accruals

 

Familiarity with relationship of SAP HR and SAP FI (symbolic accounts, GL accounts, posting to FI module)
