This is a permanent position with an innovative global company providing excellent benefits and a team environment where employees are valued.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be a senior implementation professional with:

* Large, global SAP implementations (multi-sites, multi countries) experience
* Expertise in budgeting and roll-out planning
* At least 4 full life cycle SAP implementations
* Eight years of industry or consulting experience
* Must have a thorough understanding of the current business needs of the Chemicals industry
* Deep understanding of SAP software, implementation methodologies and tools
* Proven managerial and communications skills
* Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, client relationship building skills, ability to work closely with process owners and key stakeholders to communicate progress and vision and facilitate buy-in.
* Hands-on experience preferably in the areas of SAP FI/CO, SD or MM is desired.
* Have functional experience in CPG, or Discrete Manufacturing
* Candidate must be current on SAP Enterprise release
* Strong business experience is required to define the process and guide the client to best practices.

 

Qualifications:
* Must be able to organize and present options and recommendations to senior management and all levels of the implementation team.
* Strong, confident presentation skills.
* Ability to define the project scope by clearly defining the business process requirements and desired results.
* Conduct regular communication of status and progress of deliverables
* Define and manage to a project plan using Microsoft project
* Ensure quality work is being delivered by using the right skills and implementing the right testing environment
* Ability to motivate and manage a team and to create a working environment melding client and consulting personnel.
* The project manager must be able to quickly and clearly understand the culture and long range plan of the client and translate it into an implementation plan that is realistic and satisfies the needs of the client.
* Ability to recognize new opportunities, present the ideas and propose solutions
* Able to create and track the project budget.
* Responsible for time, expense reporting and approval and other personnel related matters.
* Set clear expectations to the client and the implementation team by clearly articulating the specific deliverables and timeline in contracts, project plans and regular continuing communications.
* Track/report project to corporate (e.g. forecast, resourcing, etc.).
* Travel is up 100%. Home on the weekends.

 

Education:
* Bachelors degree and or MBA required
* Other certifications a plus (CPM, APICS, CMA, CPA, etc.)
