SAP Project Manager for Global Roll-out

In support of our continued profitable growth, we need to expand our SAP team and are currently hiring a senior level Project Manager with solid background in SAP project leadership. You will manage and lead the set up and implementation of our SAP projects. 


Job Description:

 

- Your first assignment will be the roll-out of an existing US-based SAP system for Finance, Controlling, Sales & Distribution, and Material Management to the international branches of our customer located in Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, and France.

 

- The primary role of the CIBER Project Manager is to oversee and manage the overall project to include managing CIBER consulting resources, manage customer resources through the customer Project Manager, scope, deliverables, and overall project governance.

 

- Responsible for project plan and schedule, management of deliverables, customer communication plan, management of project issues and risk, and resource management.

 

Requirements:

 

- Must be willing and able to travel to Canada, Germany, UK and France to manage the SAP global roll-out.

 

- Must have 10 years of project management experience and at least 6 years of that being in SAP implementation management.

 

- Must have functional knowledge and experience with multiple SAP modules.

 

- Ability to manage and drive a project within budget, milestones and deliverables.

 

- Ability to work with a diverse set of individuals. Will manage and lead multi-disciplined functional team members, technical and business resources in a very high energy and fast-paced environment.

 

- Must have experience in understanding high-level business requirements, leading feasibility scoping estimate efforts, providing input and direction for detailed project plans.

 

- Will need to have outstanding leadership ability and excellent human relations and business skills to communicate and negotiate effectively with internal and external clients.

 

- Ability to reconcile the often conflicting needs of the user community, the technical team, the design group, and the steering committee.

 

- Ability to sell the overarching goals to obtain the continuing support of the user management and to transfer knowledge about R/3 implementations.

 

- Ability to advise Customer and Management on project status:
  - Direction and goals
  - Team organization and training
  - R/3 configuration and integration

 

- Must be able to use and have knowledge of ASAP Methodology.

 

- Must have excellent problem-solving skills with exceptional listening, understanding and team building skills.

 

- Must have experience working on small fast pace project implementations.

 

- German and French Language skills will be a BIG plus
