Apple is an Equal Opportunity Employer. www.apple.com/jobs Position Description:SAP functional analyst specializing in design and configuration of SAP Service Management and / or Sales and Distribution module as a member of the Apple SAP Global IS&T Organization. The candidate has applied software development and project management methodologies in the past to implement key projects. The position involves understanding new business strategies, providing recommendations for automated solutions to support new strategies and implementing the proposed solutions within pre-determined resources, budget and timeline. The candidate will require strong communication skills, effective leadership and excellent knowledge of SAP SD module to work on complex, global and cross-functional projects.The candidate’s responsibilities include working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial to this position as the candidate will interact heavily with business, other IT groups and 3rd parties on an ongoing basis. The candidate works well with minimal supervision and can work on multiple projects simultaneously. Prior experience with business processes in the service management areas such as warranty claims management, service depot repairs and service contract management would be advantageous.Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting or equivalent will be preferred.The candidate requires 3-5 years of SAP configuration experience in the SD and /or functional areas (service notifications, order fulfillment, logistics, contracts).
