Apple is an Equal Opportunity Employer. www.apple.com/jobs Position Description:Apple Inc., Americas Operations is looking for a Systems Support Manager to work as liaison between the business users, project management, IS&T, Internet Services and manage a small team of analysts.The ideal candidate for this position will have very strong business analysis and management skills, as well as an excellent working knowledge of SAP R/3 SD, MM, PP and WMS modules. This person will work complex cross functional projects, provide front line support for business users and direct day-to-day tasks for the team. Candidate will make recommendations to key decision-makers regarding the use of SAP and any changes needed, both systematically and processes A strong working knowledge of the following SAP functions is required: Credit Card, O/E, Direct ship, Drop ship, Security, EDI/XML and WMSAdditional requirements include excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to prioritize workloads and manage people, ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as the ability to work with our customers and developersResponsible for helping ensure that information systems projects are appropriately developed to effectively meet business requirements and are completed in a timely manner. Under general direction, provides analysis and coordinates delivery of services to end-users.•Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the project development process and is able to effectively communicate project status and requirements to users. Reviews requests and business requirements, ensures clarity as well as establishes goals and expectations for services requested.•Effectively negotiates with and influences management on matters of importance to the team, organization and company. Makes decisions, which have a measurable time, resources and budget impact on activities and objectives of area of responsibility. Potentially impacts multiple organizations• Anticipates potential problems and works proactively to provide and implement solutions to a wide range of issues with cross-functional aspects• Defines decision-making process for team members.
