SCADA Developer

IntelliSource is one of Denver's best-kept secrets and is a leading provider in innovative Human Resource solutions.  IntelliSource's customer base includes Colorado's most sought after top employers... the Who's Who of Colorado Business.  We are currently recruiting for a Developer for a contract in Englewood, CO.  Our client needs this individual to develop software for SCADA hardware.

 

Our client provides web-based, hosted operational services that allow subscribers to monitor and control their assets wherever they are located, plan and track preventive maintenance, and optimize human resources to ensure the right skills get to the right place at the right time. Their services enable remote asset owners to monitor, manage, and optimize operation of remote equipment without traveling to or maintaining staff at the equipment site.

The service is a total end-to-end, device to user, solution  which includes:  real-time data acquisition and monitoring, field communications hardware & service, preventive maintenance management, resource optimization, presentation, data integration with enterprise back-office systems, and universal Web browser access.

 

Our client has a list of requirements for a new device that they wish to develop.  They have selected the hardware platform and need someone to come in and complete the software development for this device.  This individual would be working  in the office during the duration of the contract, but would manage their own work and provide weekly updates. This individual would also have access to the Software Engineering and Systems Engineering Staff to answer questions, when necessary.  They would like to get this new product developed as quickly as possible, so this individual should be able to devote 40+ hours a week to this project until completed. 

 

Requirements:

-10 years experience with the development and configuration of SCADA systems

-Complete familiarity with device communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, Alan Bradley DF1, EthernetIP, etc.

-Ability to manage projects, collect information needed and meet deadlines

-5 years experience with Linux, Apache, C and MySQL

-Experience with wireless communication, Satellite and Cellular

 

 

This contract is estimated to last 8 – 10 weeks.  Out of state candidates who can come to CO to work are encouraged to apply.
