SENIOR C++ DEVELOPER - FAST GROWING COMPANY!

The company is looking to set up interviews immediately! JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities: · Responsible for developing and maintaining JNI and C++ code components inside product. Work with Power System Engineers to design, specify and implement changes to algorithmic solvers. Act as a mentor and trainer in C++ to Power System Engineers and other developers. Work with Java programmers to design, specify and implement JNI code. Transform functional specifications into design specifications. Act as technical and/or project leader for small well-defined projects. Work on the API and GUI portion of the product code, as required. Maintain a high quality of code. Ensure coding standards are followed. Ensure proper unit testing is performed by all programmers. Work with QA team to develop integrated and functional tests.Minimum Qualifications: University degree in Computer Science or similar. Significant (5+ years) experience in C++ software development. Strong knowledge of C++ template library. Familiar with Eclipse's plugin architecture and CDT. Experience (2+ years) using Java SDK. Familiar with unit testing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with other stakeholders and other project programmers. Outgoing personality; able to work well with other people. Passionate about code and design.Candidates with the following qualifications will be given special consideration: A postgraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Developing or using numerical algorithm packages. Working knowledge of linear algebra and sparse matrices. Java 6 experience.
