SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER - GREAT COMPANY!

 We are looking for a Web Architect who will be responsible for the design and management of our client’s web strategy. This position will ensure that the Internet strategy is aligned with the business strategy. This process will include developing roadmaps to implement web strategies; which will include definition of projects and various milestones. Candidates must be proficient with utilizing satisfaction surveys and competitive market analysis to identify technology needs and trends.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
1. Plan, design and implement a new web strategy to include content management
2. Manage projects from inception through completion, to include project plan development, presentation development, preparation of agendas, timelines, and meeting facilitation.
3. Work with business leaders to review the client facing content that is displayed on the Internet, Micro-Sites and Extranet and make recommendation for development and implementation of dynamic content
4. Gather, validate and evaluate contents from Web Services
5. Work with Marketing to define web requirements based on needs analysis
6. Provide statistics on the usage of firm web resources including client facing pages and other externally subscribed web services
7. Utilize Search engine optimization techniques to improve the traffic to the site
8. Provide direction on procedures to maintain the dynamic content that is displayed on the Internet site
9. Review options and help define and select the web hosting strategy
10. Responsible for changing the formatting design and display of content on the Internet Site.
11. Participate in major business development strategies meetings to determine that current business applications and tools are meeting.
12. Work as a liaison between IT and Marketing to line coordinate Marketing goals with technology solutions
13. Assist with coordinating web initiatives relating to Recruiting and maintaining Alumni Information
14. Work closely with other internal teams to ensure that content is consistent with web and portal strategies, best practices and positive user experience
Required Skills:
1. 5+ years experience with web development
2. 3+ years experience with Internet Marketing/Web Analytics including Search Engine Optimization
3. 3+ years experience with Web Usability Design
4. Experience with MOSS 2007 or Sharepoint Portal Server 2003
5. Bachelor's Degree in related field
6. Experience with Industry/Competitor Analysis
7. 5+ years experience working with SQL server
8. Experience using common web authoring and development tools
9. Project management experience is a bonus!
