Recruiting now for a SHAREPOINT ARCHITECT to work out of our corporate headquarters in BATON ROUGE, LA.

The SharePoint Architect will: Help Lead major collaborative and Application projects aimed at improving operational efficiencies within the organization by leveraging the Microsoft platform utilizing Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), SharePoint Designer 2007, InfoPath 2007 and various other .NET components. Oversee and participate in the architectural design, development, customization and integration efforts of solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Content Management, Business Process and E-Forms, Systems Integration and Business IntelligenceProvide technical ad-hoc support to internal business units.

Requirements Bachelor of Science in Business/Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience A minimum of 1+ years in C#/ ASP.NET development with a minimum of 2+ years of SharePoint technical lead and architecture experience on enterprise initiatives SharePoint knowledge should include architectural design, Web Parts development, server installation, management and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations Advanced knowledge of business workflows and have an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and SharePoint Designer 2007 In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence is required . Experience with Microsoft security especially authentication for SharePoint on different browsers and platforms and application security centered around the SharePoint document library and understanding of Active Directory, Kerberos, NTLM is preferred Ability to evaluate, select and articulate product strategies between MOSS 2007, WSS 3.0 and Microsoft Office Forms Server 2007 Experience with Microsoft Office InfoPath Forms Services. Experience with SharePoint Templates (Application Templates, Master Pages, and Role-Based Templates) is highly preferred Development experience with other Microsoft technologies is also required (XML, IIS, SQL Server, etc.) Development experience with Web Services. An understanding of Document Imaging is a major plus. Experience with SharePoint Extranet deployments and FBA is preferred. Prior consulting experience is a plus. Minimum skill summary: 2+ years of SharePoint technical lead and architecture experience and web parts development 1+ years in C#, ASP.NET 2.0/3.0 and SQL development. 1+ years SQL server 2005 (development, scaling, management) Proven Implementation experience with MOSS 2007, WSS 3.0 and Microsoft Office Forms Server 2007 Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as this position will be communicating with business units and users at all levels within the organization. Knowledge of sound business practices and a proven track record of exceeding customer expectations and anticipating their needs are also required.
