SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Auctiva Corporation is a creator of online auction tools for eBay sellers, providing free software to help small businesses or individuals automate the process of creating and managing their inventory and transactions. With over 600,000 customers and more than $1.5 billion in sales processed through our checkout annually, Auctiva is eBay’s largest 3rd party provider.

 

Currently we are looking to significantly grow our development team, at all levels. Successful candidates should be highly motivated, have a lot of initiative and the desire to work on database driven web applications and services using the latest development technologies and tools.

 

You will be responsible for designing and developing significant new functionality as well as helping to maintain the existing websites and windows services. You will work with other engineers, support staff and other areas of the company in our fast paced development environment.

 

 

Requirements:Development experience with MS Windows 1-2 yrs + OO programming/design, including experience with C# or C++ Web application development experience Experience with ASP.Net greatly desired Skilled in the software development life cycle, relational database design and SQL Server 2000 programming using stored procedures Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
