 QA Test Engineer

To be successful, the individual should have strong knowledge of testing methodologies to include several years of experience in developing, maintaining and executing automated testing; including the preferred use of Mercury automation tools: Quick Test Pro, Quality Center and WinRunner.

The individual must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with various organizational levels and functions.

**Participate in designing an approach towards implementing an automation test strategy and process for new projects.

**Work with software developers to influence coding standards supportive of testing

**Develop test cases and conduct manual and automated testing of application software

 

The ideal candidate will have a BS or BA in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and several years of hands-on experience in both a manual and automated test environment. Equivalent work experience and education will also be considered. Additionally, preference will be given to an individual who holds a QA certification.
