SQL DBA, Salary and Excellent Benefits

Our client is looking to hire a SQL Database Administrator. In this role you will create and maintain databases as well as installs, maintains, and troubleshoots database software. Responsible for physical database design, DDL creation and maintenance, stored procedures design, development, and maintenance, backup recovery and archiving, system monitoring and tuning, and production support and problem resolution. Develops and documents database management policies, procedures, and standards.

You should have three years or more, experience as a DBA with SQL Server. Oracle experience is a plus. You should possess strong SQL programming skills, have experience in creating and maintaining multiple instances on a single server and have experience in supporting multiple software applications (OLTP) and data warehouses. Experience reviewing and testing application software and making suggestions for improvements for new developments is preferred. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred but experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
