SQL DBA in a growing industry leader for auto dealership software
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a database system. Implement, configure, and troubleshoot database instances, replication, backup, partitions, storage, and access.
Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning, disk optimization, and other methods. Set user privileges within the database environment.
The DBA will frequently be called on to analyze the data stored in the database and to make recommendations relating to performance and efficiency of that data storage, data modeling and optimization.
Pro actively monitor systems for optimum performance and capacity constraints. Establish standards and best practices for SQL. Writing ad-hoc reports based on end-user requests.
Monitoring table growth and usage patterns, evaluate system state and make recommendations.
Design, document, and promote security 'best practices', policies, standards and protocols
