SQL/Report Developer

Everest National Insurance Company, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd., is seeking an SQL/Report Developer in our Systems Department for our headquarters in Liberty Corner, NJ (exit 33 off I-78). Responsibilities :Develop data extracts from existing SQL databasesDevelop Reports using SQL Server Reporting Services / Webfocus (Information Builders)Help in integrating and creating an Unified Reporting SolutionWork directly with the Business / IT BSA in defining the reporting requirements and implementing the same look and feel across reporting productsWork with the IT BSA in defining the design to support Adhoc Reporting Requirements :Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3-5+ years of proven database development experience using MS SQL Server 2000/2005 in a high volume environmentStrong experience in T-SQLStrong experience in SQL Server Reporting Services / Webfocus (Information Builders)Microsoft certification in SQL Server 2000/2005 is a BIG PlusExperience writing complex stored Procedures and SQL QueriesGood understanding of Tables, Indexes, Constraints, Joins, etc.Must be able to work independently and must have very good communication skillsHighly organized individual, capable of handling multiple conflicting priorities and comfortable working with a diverse team Through our competitive salary and bonus structure, as well as a diversified suite of benefits, we are committed to recruiting and retaining the most talented individuals in the industry.
