SQL Server 2005/.NET Architect/Developer
· SQL Server 2005/.NET Architect/Developer
Friedrich, Klatt and Associates (FK&A), a fast-growing Chicago-based software development and consulting firm, seeks a .NET database application architect with experience in: .NET 2.0 Framework-based Windows and Web development, relational and multidimensional data modeling with SQL Server 2005; enterprise reporting, OLAP, and other analytic techniques; data transformations using Integration Services; and TSQL or .NET stored procedure development.
FK&A’s early leadership with new Microsoft technologies challenges its consultants and developers to build and maintain state of the art skills. For example, Microsoft products just out of beta that we are working with include: .NET Framework 3.0, including especially the Windows Workflow Foundation, Project Server 2007, SharePoint Server 2007, and Visual Studio Tools for Office 3.0 and Office 2007. We have been an aggressive early adopter of SQL Server 2005, including all of its bundled components.
Although we strongly prefer that candidates have similar early-adopter SQL Server 2005 and .NET experience, we will consider candidates with outstanding mastery of “legacy” releases who are looking for an opportunity to stretch their skills.
This position is perfect for a developer who prefers to approach software development from a strategic, high-level perspective, who likes complex problems, who enjoys interacting with clients, analyzing client business patterns, practices, and needs, and applying software development skills to develop solutions working closely with internal and client team members.
