Our Kent, WA office is seeking a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator to join the hawkeye team.
Position Description:
The Microsoft SQL Server DBA manages database infrastructure for all production web applications, including data replication in staging and development environments, backups, and data interfaces. The DBA is responsible for designing, planning, supporting and troubleshooting our database infrastructure in a collaborative team environment. HeShe assists the Build Team with the deployment of new builds to test, staging, and production environments.
Qualifications:This position requires a college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Math and at least 5 years of experience in MS SQL Server database administration or a relevant combination of education and experienceMS SQL Server database administration, tuning, and managementGeneral experience in creating SQL statements, stored procedures, functions and triggersFamiliarity with SQL mirroring and clusteringGood understanding of development management strategies across multiple sites to support release engineering for large development efforts eamsKnowledgeable and experienced in SDLC, software build technologies, and release management methodologiesA proven record of success delivering multiple individual products in an aggressive, fast-paced engineering organizationAbility to identify problems and recommend creative solutionsStrong analytical skillsProfessional communication and interpersonal skills
