SYSTEMS ENGINEER - Active TS-SCI Clearance Required

Location: Reston, VA Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Systems Engineer will be primarily responsible for representing CUSTOMER Systems and its software products on-site.  The System Engineer will work with client and contractors to determine how CUSTOMER Systems products can interface with other systems, and for prototyping solutions and/or coordinating requirements with the Austin Facility.  The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and supporting urgent fixes for user-interface and data import issues. Issues will range in scope but will include data-related issues with the SQL Server architecture.  Customer feature requests will be coordinated with the corporate office. This position is a senior level position as it requires being the Systems representative on-site. Other duties will include assisting hands-on training for new users and occasionally installing and configuring Systems-delivered software on-site. Some support of remote users is also anticipated as is occasional trips to the corporate facility. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIRMENTS·  BS/BA in Computer Science or other related·  Minimum of 6-10 years experience.·  There will be considerable customer interaction on future capabilities and interfacing external systems using our products and databases, so strong communication skills combined with the ability to solve problems is required. ·  The position also requires the ability to troubleshoot issues in a complex multi-product environment.  ·  Knowledge of Visual Studio .Net/C# and C++ is preferred. ·  Additionally, working knowledge of SQL Server, Windows administration, IIS and Windows Security configuration is a plus. ·  Active TS/SCI US Security Clearance is required. ·  Must be a U.S. Citizen.
