The Windows Platform team is responsible for the Windows version of Safari, and works closely with the engineers who are doing Mac OS X Safari and Safari for iPhone, as well as other teams at Apple developing Windows software.As a Safari and WebKit Test Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of both the Safari application and the WebKit framework as well as testing of the cross-platform WebKit Open Source Project.In this role, you'll develop tools and perform manual and automated testing for the Windows version of Safari. You'll also write test plans and coordinate with external testing resources.Required Experience- Experience performing ad-hoc testing on Windows client applications.- Good communication and organization skills.- Experience utilizing Perl, shell scripting, and other related tools to streamline and automate testing.- Ability to write and execute on test plans with minimal but effective process.- Able to focus creative energy into finding non-obvious but common bugs.Preferred Experience:- Knowledge of C/C++.- Performance and leak testing experience.- Experience coordinating with external test firms.- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and the DOM.- Security testing experience (fuzz testing, threat modeling).
