Sales Executive

Job summary
The Sales Executive will be directly responsible for generating new business for FinLab through the sale of its flagship product, PackHedgeTM.  The Sales Executive will manage all steps of the sales cycle including qualifying assigned leads, scheduling and offering online demonstrations, drafting and submitting proposals and closing the account.  In addition responding to inbound requests, the Sales Executive will be expected to build and maintain his/her own prospecting database.  Prospects include but are not limited to hedge fund of funds, pension consultants, banks, family offices, and institutional investors.



Summary of essential job functions
The Sales Executive will be expected to:

§ Develop and recommend sales plans for assigned region/area

§ Recommend sales initiatives to maximize sales efforts

§ Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the hedge fund and institutional investment industry

§ Maintain a consistent and high level of sales activities including meeting/exceeding minimum call volumes and close rates

§ Participate in weekly sales calls with regional sales representatives


Minimum requirements

§ BA/BS in Business or related field

§ 5-7 Years post-graduate sales experience; preferably in financial services or software

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

§ Strong aptitude for sales and closing

§ Highly motivated; self-starter

§ Competitive spirit

§ Superior time management and relationship building skills

Compensation
A generous base salary plus tiered commissions can easily gross a determined and productive Sales Executive over $100,000 annually.  In addition, the selected candidate will be based in FinLab’s US headquarters, Kennett Square, on the outskirts of Philadelphia.  Kennett Square offers convenient parking, numerous retail shops, quaint restaurants and exercise facilities within walking distance.  Upon successful completion of one year of service, employees are eligible for equity participation.
