The South Eastern Sales Executive will focus on driving and managing both direct and indirect outside sales of our IT Service Management and Infrastructure Management applications for the South Eastern Region. With 40% of the Fortune 500 carrying one or more of FRS’s products, referenceable accounts are abundant, paving the way for further growth in this region. While FRS headquarters are located in Pleasanton, California, this position will ideally be located in the South East, however, we will also accommodate the successful candidate’s current location.This is an extraordinary opportunity to join a profitable, stable, and growing company while owning this specific territory. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this individual is chartered with building relationships and generating revenues through Channels, including ISVs, VARs, and strategic partners as well as selling directly to Fortune 1000. You will utilize your well developed account management skills to achieve and, ideally, exceed quota results (never one for status quo!). Needless to say, you’ll need to manage and forecast regional sales pipelines as well as manage technical and marketing resources to accomplish sales goals. We’ll make sure you have what you have the resources you need to succeed! Having said that, we’ll need you to make sure that the company’s sales methods, including strategic and TAS selling techniques are correctly implemented. Travel is a necessity for this role.To be successful in this role, FRS believes the ideal candidate for this position will have the following experiences and skill sets:• A minimum of five (5) years of selling enterprise level software direct and through channel partners• Experience selling into the IT Service Management or IT Infrastructure management marketplace a plus (i.e. selling products/services from BMC, Remedy, Magic, Computer Associates, LANDesk, Altiris, HP, Axios, Peregrine, Mercury, or equivalent experiences highly desired) • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding quota results, putting your compensation consistently in the six figure category • Rolodex of CIO’s and Technology Directors within major corporations in the South East• Experience in the Service Desk marketplace a plus, but not required• Knowledge of ITIL foundation desirable; ITIL certification is ideal• Experience working in a virtual environment• Strong and accurate sales forecasting skills How we’d like to be able to describe the successful candidate:• Self starter – you already know what you need to do and how to do it• Hungry to succeed: hunter not farmer• Results oriented• Views trailblazing as a competitive sport• Knows how to drive business• Articulate and communicates professionally at all times • Knows how to turn roadblocks into opportunities• Thrives on challenge FrontRange Solutions, in return, offers career expansion in a stable, growing company, with reputable, award winning products and services.
