Sales Finance Manager / Revenue Controller

Growing high tech company is looking to add a Sales Finance Manager to its growing team.  The company is publicly traded, over $500M in annual revenue, and has grown revenues by approximately 18 – 20% for the past 2 consecutive years!  The company recently restructured its accounting and finance orgs to accommodate the growth which caused the creation of several new positions, this being one of them.

This position would report to the Director of FP&A but would be very highly visible, partnering with VP of Sales & Marketing and Director of FP&A on all revenue related matters. The Sales Finance Manager will own the revenue forecasting process, dashboard reporting, sales comp/commissions, will assist in pricing strategies for optimal margins, deal structuring, and will supervise 2 - 3 analysts.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of finance experience with a strong FP&A background and will have  3+ years of experience in a management/leadership role dealing with C-level execs.  Experience in a high tech company (hardware/software product) is and knowledge of software revenue recognition (SOP 97-2) are strongly preferred.  Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally across all levels of the company are musts.  MBA is a big plus, but not required.  Compensation is competitive and flexible depending on experience and includes base and annual bonus of approximately 10 – 15%.
