PLATO currently has an opening for an organized, detail oriented Sales Operations Coordinator. to work within our corporate headquarters in Bloomington, MN.
The Sales Operations Coordinator (“SOC”) is primarily responsible for assisting the Account Managers with proposal and quote generation, order processing and any additional Sales Force Automation (SFA) activities, aiding in increased productivity, accuracy and efficiencies in the facilitation of company revenue. This role is fully accountable for the accuracy of orders submitted for processing and is responsible for administering key controls for Sarbanes-Oxley adherence.
Some additional responsibilities for this position are as follows:
· Interaction with Account Managers with creation of proposals, proposals, and orders (OAFs).
· Ensures orders adhere to order policies, delegation of authority and revenue policies.
· Order follow up, including contact with clients and others at PLATO
· Ability to understand PLATO products and instructional solutions and articulate them clearly. Excellent ability to retain or re-reference quickly product information, including pricing and configurations.
· Ability to work with basic technology including PeopleSoft SFA and Finance and Microsoft Office.
· Professional phone/follow-up skills; inflection, articulation, use of language, listening, business vocabulary, and written skill.
· Needs-satisfaction consultative skills (probing, objection resolution, vision).
· Planning, organizational and prioritization skills/can manage multiple tasks
· Ability to resolve interpersonal challenges that arise in a changing environment or in multi-person team situation.
· Problem solving skills, solution oriented; identify and suggest solutions
· Creates and modifies proposals, quotes and investment summaries
· User-expert in SFA system and conducting PLATO business
· Collaboratively works with Account Managers, Regional and corporate personnel to achieve order quality.
· Performs administrative responsibilities; record keeping, reporting, customer database maintenance, corresponding and communicating pertinent information.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
· Extensive outbound/inbound telephone calling.
· Sedentary work; requires sitting and visual viewing of PC for long periods of time.
The qualifications we are seeking for this position are as follows:
