Exciting opportunity to sell forensic software for the world's leading manufacturer of criminal investigation equipment to the US law enforcement community.

Job Description:

 - Requires the ability to learn our product and be able to present it to end users
 - The full sales cycle:  from prospecting to close
 - Tracking activity and sales progress
 - Forecasting sales closures
 - Attending trade shows, coordinating sales demonstrations and sales meetings
 - Retaining and expanding sales revenue in assigned account base, as well as drive new market share

Requirements:

 - Proven success with 1-3 years sales experience
 - Must exhibit proven success in lead generation, prospect qualification and account development
 - Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and articulate solutions within the context of the offerings you have previously sold
 - Effective at developing and managing a sales pipeline and maintaining a customer base
 - Ability to develop and execute account strategies through sales proposals, presentations and product demonstrations
 - Some travel required

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting sales calls, participating in promotional trade shows, tracking sales activities, preparing price quotations, writing proposals, and assisting with the development of marketing materials.  In addition, other tasks include gathering data on customer trends, competitive products and pricing models.

The key goal is to develop new business through existing and creative channels of distribution.  The top priority is planning for and achieving sales objectives.
