Sales Representative-Western Region

NextGen Healthcare Information Systems, Inc., a rapidly growing, publicly held, top-tier healthcare IT company based in Horsham, PA, provides computer-based practice management and electronic medical records systems to more than 1,500 physician practices across the United States.

We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Reprsentative to become a part of our rapidly growing Mid Atlantic Region Sales Team. This position is being recruited for California, Oregon and Washington state.

: Sales Representative -(SR) Sells new Small Accounts in assigned Territory (1-5 docs) and simple upgrade under 50k. May also assist Sales Executives (SE) and Strategic Account Managers (SAM) upon advance written approval of RVP by performing certain sales tasks such as site surveys, demo, etc.

Minimum of 3 years selling ambulatory care practice management and/or medical records information systems, with a minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable quota performance.
o Sales Reprehensive must be highly motivated self-starters with excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, formal presentation skills before small and large groups, demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills (with special emphasis on closing sales), experience managing territories and state-of-the-art products, good follow-through and time management skills, and attention to detail.
o Required travel is approx. 20% - 30% of the job.

o Attended Miller Heimen training courses
o Excellent public speaking skills
o Specialty specific knowledge (ex: Cardiology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology etc).
o Familiar with Strategic selling initiatives.

Bachelor's degree
o Minimum of 1 - 2 years of healthcare related sales experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to work extended hours to achieve goals
