Sales Support Specialist

Sales/Retail/Business Development Relevant Work Experience: 1+ to 2 Years Career Level: Entry Level Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Job Summary This individual will be required to understand and perform all aspects of Lead Qualification and Product, Pricing, and Licensing related to the normal day to day requests of MathWorks pre-sales customers. Although outbound phone work is the primary focus of this position, generalists will also be expected to support customers via email and the World Wide Web. Sales Support Specialists primary responsibility is the creation of qualified opportunities to be passed on to Sales Representatives. They must also have basic computer skills, the ability to work independently as well as with a team, and the aptitude to learn software tools needed to complete the following daily tasks: basic sales qualification, ordering, and corporate information pertaining to product literature and marketing program response request. Basic teaming skills such as the ability to work with others, identifying and implementing suggestions for improvement, and actively participating in team meetings is also required.
